These fascinating fish exhibit a wide array of colours and patterns, from the striking geometric designs of the Picasso triggerfish to the iridescent blues and greens of the Queen triggerfish, and the more subdued, yet equally impressive, mosaic of the Titan. Generally oval-shaped and laterally compressed, they possess small, upturned mouths housing powerful, often prominent, teeth perfectly suited for their unique dietary needs.
