Explore the remote southern Red Sea from Port Ghalib, a region renowned for its pristine offshore reefs and consistent pelagic encounters. This itinerary covers iconic sites like Daedalus, Rocky, Zabargad, and Elphinstone, offering opportunities to observe oceanic whitetip sharks, hammerheads, and vibrant coral ecosystems. Strong currents are often present, attracting a diverse range of larger marine life to these isolated pinnacles and walls. Divers can expect a concentrated experience of dramatic drop-offs and open-ocean activity typical of the deep south. This expedition is ideal for experienced divers seeking significant pelagic action.
Check-in day. Guests are able to check-in from 5 pm up until 3 am the following morning to get to the boat in time. Services start on day 1 after check-in and the evening dinner is included on board. The boat leaves between 9 and 10 am on day 2.

Dives are planned but it depends on the flight schedule of the guests. The boat will be back in the afternoon. The last night will be spent at the marina and dinner will be served aboard.
Breakfast is included, and check-out occurs between 8 and 9 AM. Guests transfer directly to the airport for their flights. Transfers are organized by boat. Sample Itinerary: Rocky Island provides shelter and nesting grounds for a variety of birds. Zabargad, the larger of the two islands, features a steep relief and is surrounded by a marvelous turquoise lagoon. During summer, it becomes a gathering place for turtles, which lay their eggs here. The best description is: wild landscapes and isolated sites, lost in the middle of the Red Sea. Daedalus On the northern side of Daedalus, a sunrise dive takes place. This area, on the northern falling of Daedalus, is most exposed to sea currents, offering the best chance for encounters with pelagic species. It is frequent to dive alongside schools of more than 20 Hammer sharks. Carangidae and tunas are regularly present. Divers then leave the deep zone to explore the falling. This exploration demands attention due to numerous holes and overhangs. Many black coral branches colonize the reef. While ascending, divers look up for Barracudas riding nearby. Zabargad On Zabargad Island, fragments of rocks, resembling emeralds, give the island its fame and name. Zabargad is the Arabic name for the green-olive mineral that once filled this semi-volcanic island. The dive site features peaks, canyons, caves, and fallings. Divers encounter Tunas, scorpionfish, Leopard sharks, Nurse Sharks, Angelfish, groupers, morays, and blue-spotted stingray Mantas. Rocky Five kilometers south of Zabargad lies Rocky Island, near the Sudanese border. Rocky Island is the wildest diving site in Egypt: diving through the shallow platform, which shelters all kinds of living creatures, transitions into a falling covered by giant Gorgonians, sponges, and corals. To the south of the island, “the huge” white-fin sharks, grey sharks, and Ray Mantas gather. Sample itineraries and maps are for illustrative purposes only.
