This exciting 3-night liveaboard adventure explores the renowned dive sites of Dunraven, Ras Mohammed, and the Straits of Tiran in the Egyptian Red Sea. From historical wrecks to vibrant reefs, divers can expect a diverse range of underwater experiences. The itinerary includes opportunities for both day and night diving, showcasing the rich marine biodiversity of this celebrated region. Guests will embark and disembark from Umbi.
Guests arrive at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport or are picked up from their hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh, followed by a transfer to the Freedom III liveaboard at Sharks Bay Umbi Diving Village Jetty. The evening is dedicated to embarking, settling into cabins, and attending a boat briefing. The vessel prepares for an early morning departure after completing necessary port authority permissions.
The day begins with a check dive at Sharks Bay, ensuring all divers are comfortable and equipment is functioning correctly. The next dive site is Jackfish Alley, known for its small, easily accessible caves. The third dive takes place at The Alternatives, an impressive formation of seven pinnacles interspersed with sand patches, a reputed spot for leopard sharks. Night diving is a popular activity in this area, offering a different perspective on marine life.

The first dive of the day explores the historical wreck of the SS Dunraven, a British steamship that sank in 1876 and now lies upside down, encrusted with corals. Following this, divers visit Shark and Yolanda Reef, the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula, famed for its dramatic wall dives and diverse marine ecosystem. The vessel then sails into the Strait of Tiran, where the third dive is at Jackson Reef, the northernmost reef in the strait. A night dive is planned for the South Lagoon.

The day's first dive typically takes place at Thomas Reef or Woodhouse Reef, both part of the four Tiran reefs. These sites are renowned for their vibrant marine life and intricate reef structures. Following this, a dive at Gordon Reef is usually scheduled. After lunch, the liveaboard returns to Sharks Bay Umbi Port (Sharks Bay Jetty) for disembarkation by 10:00, concluding the trip.
