Day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Embarkation in Sorong

    Sorong

    Upon arrival at Sorong's airport, you will be transferred to the port to board the vessel. After settling in and attending a welcome briefing, the boat will set sail towards the Dampier Strait as you enjoy dinner.

    Good to know: Boarding typically occurs in the afternoon. The vessel will cruise overnight to the first dive area.

  2. Day 2: Diving the Dampier Strait

    Dampier Strait

    The adventure begins with an immersion into the nutrient-rich waters of the Dampier Strait. Today's dives often feature gentle slopes packed with incredible biodiversity and huge schools of fish.

    Dive sites: Cape Kri, Mioskon, Sawandarek Jetty

  3. Day 3: Piaynemo's Iconic Views & Reefs

    Piaynemo Islands

    Visit the spectacular Piaynemo island group, starting with a short trek to the iconic viewpoint overlooking the karst lagoon. Underwater, explore a magnificent sloping reef known for its sprawling, healthy hard coral fields.

    Dive sites: Melissa's Garden, My Reef

    Good to know: Includes a land excursion to the Piaynemo viewpoint for panoramic photos.

  4. Day 4: Manta Encounters at Arborek

    Arborek Island

    Today offers a great chance to witness majestic reef mantas as they visit a well-known cleaning station. Another highlight is a dive under the Arborek pier, which shelters dense schools of fish and interesting macro subjects.

    Dive sites: Manta Sandy, Arborek Jetty

    Good to know: Manta sightings are common but not guaranteed.

  5. Day 5: Exploring Gam and Yangeffo

    Gam Island

    The journey continues around the island of Gam, known for its vibrant underwater landscapes. Dives here reveal colorful soft corals, unique topography, and the possibility of spotting cryptic wobbegong sharks resting on the reef.

    Dive sites: Citrus Ridge, Mayhem

  6. Day 6: Final Dives and Return Journey

    Dampier Strait

    Enjoy two final morning dives at world-class sites in the Dampier Strait, known for their thrilling currents and abundant marine life. Afterwards, the boat will start its cruise back towards the main port.

    Dive sites: Sardine Reef, Blue Magic

    Good to know: Fewer dives are scheduled to allow for sufficient off-gassing time before flying.

  7. Day 7: Disembarkation in Sorong

    Sorong

    Enjoy a final breakfast on board before bidding farewell to the crew. You will then be transferred to the Sorong airport for your flight home or onward travel.

    Good to know: Disembarkation is typically in the morning.
