Strait of Gubal, Northern Red Sea
The trip begins with a check dive before heading to Sha’ab El Erg, also known as Dolphin House, for a chance to encounter its resident pod of bottlenose dolphins. The afternoon is spent at Abu Nuhas, the famous 'ship's graveyard', where you can dive on wrecks like the tile-carrying Carnatic or the lens-hauling Giannis D. These wrecks are now beautiful artificial reefs covered in corals and teeming with glassfish.

Strait of Gubal, Northern Red Sea
Today is dedicated to one of the world's most famous shipwrecks, the SS Thistlegorm. The first dive explores the exterior, spotting resident batfish and hunting tuna. The second dive penetrates the cargo holds, revealing a time capsule of WWII supplies including BSA motorcycles, Bedford trucks, and armored vehicles. A night dive on the wreck offers a completely different perspective with hunting morays and lionfish.

Ras Mohamed, Sinai Peninsula
We sail to the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula to dive the world-renowned Ras Mohamed National Park. The highlight is a thrilling drift dive across Shark and Yolanda Reefs, famous for their precipitous walls and incredible density of fish. Keep an eye out for schooling snappers, batfish, and a large field of scattered bathroom fixtures from the Yolanda wreck's cargo.

Straits of Tiran, Northern Red Sea
The day is spent exploring the four legendary reefs in the Straits of Tiran: Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon. These sites are known for their deep walls, strong currents, and potential for pelagic encounters. Drifting along Jackson Reef's vibrant coral gardens offers a chance to spot hammerheads in the blue, while Gordon Reef features a large plateau and the wreck of the Loullia.

Strait of Gubal, Northern Red Sea
The boat starts its journey south, returning to the Strait of Gubal. Dives today could include exploring the Barge at Gubal Island, a fantastic shallow wreck known as a superb macro and night dive site. Alternatively, conditions may permit a visit to another Abu Nuhas wreck not dived on the way north, such as the Chrisoula K, known for its cargo of Italian floor tiles.

Hurghada, Red Sea
The final day of diving takes place closer to Hurghada, often around the protected Giftun Islands. Sites like Small Giftun feature beautiful walls and coral gardens with a high chance to spot napoleon wrasse and turtles. Two dives are scheduled to allow for sufficient off-gassing time before the flight home the next day.
