After exploring the caves, the dive continues around the site, revealing a vibrant ecosystem. A typical dive day here might also include a second dive at Tijeretas Wall, another iconic San Cristóbal site featuring vertical walls covered in marine life. While specific seasonality for marine life at The Caves isn't detailed, the Galápagos generally hosts year-round sightings of reef sharks, sea turtles, rays, and playful sea lions.
