Dining on board is a comprehensive full-board experience, featuring a mix of Western and local culinary styles. Meals are served in a comfortable dining room, with a variety of buffet-style options and set menu dinners to ensure variety throughout the voyage. Special dietary requirements, such as vegan or vegetarian needs, are well-accommodated when requested in advance. Guests can enjoy complimentary wine with dinner, and snacks are provided throughout the day to keep guests refreshed between excursions.
The expedition experience centers on immersive land-based exploration rather than underwater activities. Guests participate in daily shore excursions led by professional naturalists, utilizing the ship's fleet of Zodiacs to reach remote coastal areas. These guided walks and hikes allow for intimate encounters with the Arctic landscape, from tundra flora to dramatic glacial fronts. Each day is carefully planned to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities, including polar bears, walruses, and diverse bird species. The pace is tailored to the group's interests, ensuring that photographers and nature enthusiasts have ample time to explore the unique terrain of the Svalbard archipelago in a safe and educational manner.

Hotel transfers are included in the trip price. Please ensure your travel details are provided during the booking process to coordinate these services.
We recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every cruise, covering trip cancellation and interruption, medical treatment and emergency evacuation abroad, and baggage loss or delay. · Remote destinations such as the Galápagos, Antarctica or the Arctic make evacuation cover especially important.
Svalbard voyages start in Longyearbyen (LYR) via Oslo; Greenland via Copenhagen or Reykjavík (KEF). · Flights are limited, so arrive one day early.
Check the entry requirements for every country on your itinerary, including embarkation, disembarkation and transit countries. Requirements depend on your nationality and travel documents. Ask the relevant consulates about visas, electronic travel authorisations and passport validity before travelling. · Polar regions are not a single immigration jurisdiction. The countries on your confirmed route determine the entry rules; check your departure gateway and every landing country separately.
