Nurse Shark

The nurse shark is one of the most docile shark species, often found resting on sandy bottoms or in caves during the day. Their name may come from the sucking sound they make when feeding, which resembles a nursing baby. These bottom-dwellers are a favourite among divers for their calm demeanour.
