Breiter Kanal zwischen Alor und Adonara, durch den tiefes Ozeanwasser strömt und planktonreiche Strömungen mit sich bringt. Walhaie wurden hier während der Regenzeit gesichtet, und ansässige Schulen von Spinnerdelfinen begleiten häufig Boote. Unter der Oberfläche bedecken riesige Schwärme von Doktorfischen den Riffhang.
