The submarine topography is characterized by impressive walls, steep slopes, and expansive plateaus that descend into deep waters. These features, combined with persistent currents, cultivate an incredibly rich and diverse marine ecosystem. Both hard and soft corals flourish, creating vivid reef structures that teem with life, drawing in significant pelagic activity. The currents flowing from the open ocean are a defining aspect of diving here, bringing with them nutrient-dense upwellings.
