Land's End marks the meeting point of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, creating a dynamic dive environment. This site features a resident sea lion colony that frequently interacts with divers, alongside schools of cow-nose rays and various baitfish and snappers. A notable historical element is the scattered remains of the "Nürnberg" shipwreck, lying at approximately 12 meters, which went down in the 1950s after engine failure during a storm. The topography includes a pinnacle and a small channel allowing passage between the two oceans. Conditions can be challenging with currents, especially when swell is present, making it ideal for open water to advanced divers. A good plan involves swimming from the beach to the cliff, then turning left along the wall to explore. This site is easily accessible via a short boat ride from the marina, often combined with a scenic tour past the Arch.
