The humpback whale is one of the most acrobatic whales, famous for its spectacular breaching displays and hauntingly beautiful songs. Found in every ocean, humpbacks migrate thousands of kilometres between polar feeding grounds and tropical breeding areas, making them one of the most widely encountered whale species.
