Antichi frammenti di anfore sparsi su una barriera corallina vicino a Kaş rivelano la ricca storia marittima della zona. La barriera stessa ospita cernie, murene e densi banchi di pesci damigella tra sane praterie di Posidonia. Alcuni pezzi di anfora risalgono a oltre 2.500 anni fa, alle antiche rotte commerciali greche.
