The expedition experience focuses on immersive land-based exploration within the Tongass National Forest. Guests participate in daily guided hikes through ancient, old-growth forests, led by expert naturalists who provide deep context on the local ecosystem. These excursions are designed to be accessible, allowing guests to explore at a comfortable pace while learning about the unique flora and fauna of the Alaskan wilderness. In addition to hiking, the itinerary features active water-based exploration via kayaks, allowing guests to navigate quiet shorelines and hidden coves at their own pace.
