About Hanifaru Bay
UNESCO Bioszféra Rezervátum a Baa Atollon, világhírű a tömeges manta rája táplálkozási aggregációiról a délnyugati monszun idején (június-november). Akár 200 zátony manta köröz formációban, sűrű planktonnal táplálkozva, amelyet az áramlatok koncentrálnak ebben a természetes amfiteátrumban. Cápák is rendszeresen látogatják, így ez az egyik leglátványosabb tengeri élővilág látványosság a bolygón.
