爱琴海沿岸切什梅（Çeşme）周围的水域有岩石礁，上面覆盖着茂密的波西多尼亚海草（Posidonia meadows）。普通海豚（Common dolphins）偶尔会到访，该地区富含地中海鱼类，包括彩绘梳齿鲈（painted combers）。凉爽的爱琴海海流带来极佳的能见度，夏季通常超过30米。
