About Adélie Penguin
The Adélie Penguin is one of the most iconic Antarctic species, easily recognised by its tuxedo-like black and white plumage and distinctive white eye rings. These hardy birds breed in vast colonies on rocky Antarctic coastlines and are remarkable swimmers, capable of diving to 180 metres in pursuit of krill and small fish.
