Yachtiano

About Yachtiano

The Yachtiano offers access to Egypt's Red Sea marine environment, providing a modern platform for dive exploration.

The long waterway separating Africa from Asia created an evolutionary laboratory for marine life. For millennia, the Red Sea's enclosed nature has fostered unique coral species and endemic fish populations. Its underwater landscape is a study in contrasts, from shallow hard coral gardens to vertical walls that drop into the deep blue. This is a region where nutrient upwellings attract large pelagics and maritime history rests on the seafloor as world-famous wrecks. Built to navigate this special environment, Yachtiano is a modern, capable platform for accessing the full scope of Egypt's underwater attractions. Diving operations are organized around a spacious dive deck designed for efficiency. Each diver has a dedicated station with ample room for gear setup and storage. A multi-level camera table with charging points and rinse tanks serves underwater photographers. Professional Egyptian guides with extensive local knowledge lead all dives, showing groups the best sections of each reef or wreck. Nitrox is available for certified divers, supporting safe, well-planned excursions to the Red Sea's most compelling sites. Life aboard Yachtiano is designed for comfort and community. The vessel accommodates 34 guests in 17 cabins, with five distinct types ranging from lower deck twin cabins to an expansive sun deck penthouse suite. All guest rooms have private en-suite bathrooms, individual climate controls, and contemporary furnishings. Social life is split between several areas, including an air-conditioned main salon for briefings and a shaded outdoor lounge ideal for relaxing between dives. At the top of the vessel, a broad sun deck provides open-air seating and commanding views of the sea. The culinary program is a central part of the onboard experience. An experienced chef and galley team prepare a varied menu of international and local Egyptian dishes throughout the journey. Meals are typically served buffet-style in the main dining area, allowing guests to sample a wide variety of flavors. Fresh produce and complex carbohydrates are always available to fuel multiple dives per day. The crew can accommodate most special dietary requirements with advance notification. Between dives, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are readily available to keep guests hydrated and energized. Launched in 2024, Yachtiano is a new vessel constructed from the ground up for modern liveaboard diving. Its steel hull measures 45.5 meters in length with a 9-meter beam, providing a stable and spacious platform at sea. Below deck, twin MAN 12-cylinder engines enable a high cruising speed of 17 knots and a top speed of 20 knots. This power allows the vessel to complete long crossings between remote offshore reefs efficiently, reducing transit time and maximizing dive opportunities. The ship's significant size and contemporary hull design contribute to guest comfort during open-water passages. Yachtiano operates year-round in the Egyptian Red Sea, running a selection of itineraries that cover the region's most significant dive areas. Northern routes, often departing from Hurghada, focus on the wrecks of Abu Nuhas and the SS Thistlegorm, plus the reefs of Ras Mohamed National Park. Southern itineraries from Port Ghalib venture to the offshore marine parks of the Brothers Islands, Daedalus Reef, and St. John's, known for shark sightings and pelagic action. This liveaboard is an excellent choice for experienced divers wanting a fast, modern vessel to explore Egypt's full range of diving, from historic wrecks to remote, current-swept pinnacles.
