Egypt's Red Sea coast is a stark line drawn between desert and deep ocean. This narrow sea, formed by a continental rift, possesses a unique hydrology; with minimal rainfall and no river input, its waters hold high salinity and exceptional clarity. These conditions support the growth of vast fringing reefs that drop away into the blue, alongside offshore pinnacles and deep walls that rise from the abyss. The marine ecosystem is a mix of vibrant hard and soft corals, a high number of endemic fish species, and powerful currents that attract large pelagic animals. The SS Serena Dreams operates exclusively in this environment, providing a purpose-built platform for dedicated dive exploration across the region's northern and southern sites. All diving is conducted from two fast Yamaha-powered tenders, ensuring divers are dropped precisely on the best entry points for each site. The main vessel features a spacious, well-organized dive deck with individual stations for gear setup and storage. For underwater photographers, dedicated rinse tanks and a camera table are provided to care for sensitive equipment. The vessel is powered by twin 600 HP CAT engines, giving it a cruising speed of 9 knots and the ability to reach more remote offshore locations efficiently. With a capacity for just 18 guests, the atmosphere on board remains personal and uncrowded.
