Snefro Love

About Snefro Love

The Red Sea's submerged geography, shaped by ancient geological processes, supports extensive coral formations and diverse marine life. Nitrox is included free of charge for certified divers.

Egypt's eastern frontier is a hard line where desert sands meet a deep, oceanic rift. This is the Red Sea, a long and narrow waterway with a unique hydrography defined by high salinity and warm temperatures, which has fostered the growth of extensive and resilient coral reef systems. These reefs, rising from the depths as pinnacles or fringing sheer walls, create a complex habitat for a dense population of endemic fish. The powerful currents that sweep through the sea's open-water passages also attract large oceanic species. Snefro Love is a motor yacht built specifically to navigate these waters, providing a stable and comfortable platform for week-long dive explorations of this dynamic marine environment. Diving operations are organized for efficiency and access to a wide range of sites. The vessel is equipped with two Zodiac tenders, each powered by a 25 hp outboard, used to shuttle divers directly to the optimal entry points on the reefs and wrecks. The spacious main dive deck provides individual gear stations, rinse tanks for equipment, and ample storage. For underwater photographers, there is a dedicated camera area with charging points and a worktable for equipment preparation. Dives are led by experienced local guides who possess an intimate knowledge of the region's currents, topography, and marine life behavior, ensuring a well-managed underwater experience. Life aboard the Snefro Love is structured around diver comfort and relaxation between dives. The vessel accommodates up to 20 guests in 10 air-conditioned cabins, each with its own private bathroom. A spacious Master Suite is located on the main deck, with Double Bed cabins on the upper deck and Twin Berth cabins situated on the lower deck for maximum quiet. Social life is split between the interior and exterior spaces. An air-conditioned lounge and dining area on the main deck serves as the primary indoor gathering spot. Outside, guests can relax on the shaded upper deck or make use of the top-level sundeck, which offers open space and seating for sunbathing and watching the sea. The onboard culinary program focuses on fresh, flavorful meals designed to fuel active dive days. A professional chef prepares a variety of dishes that draw from both international and local Egyptian cuisines. Meals are generally served buffet-style in the main deck's dining room, allowing guests to choose from a generous selection of options. The kitchen staff is also able to cater to most special dietary needs, provided the vessel is notified in advance of the trip. Between meals, snacks, water, tea, and coffee are readily available to all guests, ensuring everyone remains hydrated and energized throughout the day. Originally constructed in 2010, the Snefro Love underwent a complete refurbishment in 2024 to modernize its guest areas and onboard systems. The yacht has a length of 36.9 meters and a broad 9.1-meter beam, a design feature that enhances its stability during open-water crossings and while at anchor. Propulsion is provided by two dependable 460 HP G.M. engines, giving the vessel the power and range required for offshore marine park itineraries. With a total of 13 bathrooms and a guest capacity limited to 20, the boat maintains a feeling of spaciousness and avoids crowding, contributing to a more relaxed atmosphere on longer voyages. Snefro Love typically operates classic Red Sea itineraries that appeal to different diver interests. Routes exploring the Northern Wrecks and Reefs focus on historic sites like the SS Thistlegorm and the vibrant walls of Ras Mohammed National Park. For those seeking pelagic encounters, southern marine park trips visit the Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone. These southern routes are best for experienced divers who are comfortable with deep dives and strong currents. This liveaboard is an excellent choice for divers wanting to explore Egypt's most famous sites from a dedicated dive platform, particularly those looking to disconnect completely, as there is no Wi-Fi service available onboard. Nitrox is included free of charge for certified divers.
