About ハニファル・ベイ

バア環礁にあるユネスコ生物圏保護区で、南西モンスーン（6月～11月）の間に発生する大規模なマンタの摂食集積で世界的に有名です。最大200匹のリーフマンタが隊列を組んで旋回し、この自然の円形劇場で潮の流れによって濃縮されたプランクトンを捕食します。ジンベエザメも定期的に訪れ、地球上で最も壮観な海洋野生生物の光景の一つとなっています。
