About Raja Ampat

Raja Ampat in West Papua, Indonesia, is the most biodiverse marine region on Earth — home to over 1,500 fish species, 600 coral species, and pristine reef systems that define the heart of the Coral Triangle.

Raja Ampat (meaning "Four Kings") is an archipelago of over 1,500 small islands in West Papua, Indonesia, sitting at the very heart of the Coral Triangle. Scientific surveys have recorded more marine species here than anywhere else on Earth — over 1,500 fish species, 600 hard coral species (75% of all known species), and countless invertebrates. The underwater landscapes range from towering limestone karst islands draped in jungle to vibrant coral walls, blue-water mangrove channels, and cleaning stations where manta rays queue up in orderly lines. Remote and relatively expensive to reach, Raja Ampat rewards adventurous divers with truly pristine conditions and encounters that exist nowhere else.
